I'm working on a web-based program that will convert a Twitter feed into MIDI data in real time. In other words, it will use tweets to create music. You can keep up with my progress at alexyoder.net/hashtag. You may find that it doesn't work when you visit the site - that's because its still in development. I'll update here when I have a working model.
