Yesterday, the Symphonic Band here at Ithaca College did a recording of my new piece for young band called “Cosmiclash”.  They pretty much sightread the piece perfectly, rehearsed a couple of places just in case, then recorded it!  They sounded great, as usual. The director, Dr. Beth Peterson, was very kind and helpful in setting up the rehearsal and conducting the piece.  I should get the recording back soon – I’ll put it up in the music section once I get everything uploaded.
